A ceramic coating is a liquid polymer that bonds to your clear coat and cures into a hard, glass-like layer. It dramatically boosts gloss, makes the surface hydrophobic so water and dirt slide off, and shields the paint from UV rays, bird droppings, tree sap and light chemical etching. In short: your car looks deeper and stays clean far longer with a fraction of the effort.

It depends on the package and how the car is maintained. Our warranties reflect that: ZR53 carries a 5-year (new) / 3-year (used) warranty, and NL272 steps up to 10-year (new) / 7-year (used). Longevity comes down to proper washing — no automatic brush tunnels — and the occasional maintenance top-up, which we'll walk you through.

Yes. Both ceramic packages come with a registered, warranty-backed coating. NL272 covers 10 years on new vehicles (7 on used); ZR53 covers 5 years on new (3 on used). Each includes up to $1,000 in paint-damage repairs under qualifying claims, and your $250 deposit gets you a serial number linked to your coating bottle plus full warranty registration. We spell out exactly what's covered before any work begins.

Our ceramic packages are NL272 at $2,000 and ZR53 at $1,500 — both include full paint prep and correction, and both require a $250 deposit that goes toward your total. We're fully mobile up and down the Twin Cities metro — from Elko New Market in the south to Isanti in the north. That includes Minneapolis, St. Paul, Lakeville, Apple Valley, Burnsville, Eagan, Bloomington, Blaine, Coon Rapids, Ham Lake and everywhere between. Not sure you're in range? Just ask.

Very little. Our rig is self-contained with its own water, power and lighting. Ideally we'd have a garage, carport or shaded flat spot with room to work around the whole vehicle — a covered space is best for coatings, which need a controlled environment to cure. If you're in an apartment or tight spot, mention it and we'll figure out the logistics together.

Always — and it's the part that separates a lasting coating from a wasted one. Every job includes a thorough wash, chemical and clay decontamination, and at minimum a gloss-enhancement polish. Any swirls or scratches you want gone are handled by paint correction first, because a coating locks in whatever is underneath it. Prep is where most of the time and skill actually goes.

Wax is a soft, temporary layer that sits on top of the paint and typically lasts weeks before it washes away. A ceramic coating chemically bonds to the clear coat and lasts years, with far greater gloss, slickness, chemical resistance and durability. Wax is a quick shine; ceramic is long-term protection. For most owners, ceramic is dramatically better value over time.

A gloss-enhancement and coating is usually a full day. Multi-stage paint correction on a neglected car can run one to two days, and PPF depends on coverage. Coatings also need cure time afterward — we'll tell you exactly how long to keep the car dry and out of the rain based on the product used.
